The village of Avocat is situated a brief distance from the Arima/Blanchisseuse Road. In this village, you will find ‘Gran Fond Falls,’ which the Amerindians named “the river that comes from the sky.” Surrounded by a wall of shimmering bronze rocks and rich greenery, visitors can experience a refreshing spray bath behind the cascade of water that crashes into a jacuzzi-like pool below. After visiting the falls, we head to Fort Abercromby.
